Health & Healing Spell Work
Hoodoo healing candles and rituals to support recovery, chronic illness, and mental health — worked on the altar in New Orleans with photo proof.
How we work health & healing
Healing work in hoodoo is old and specific. Different candle colors and dressings for different bodies and different conditions. Here's how we approach it at Hoodoo Rx:
Recovery support
After surgery, injury, or an acute episode.
Chronic illness
Steady candles over time, not one-shot work.
Mental health support
Anxiety, depression, grief. Often paired with cleansing.
For someone else
You can commission healing work for a family member; we'll ask you about the relationship and read the situation first.
This is spiritual work. It is a complement to medical care and therapy, not a replacement. If you or someone you love is in crisis, please call a medical professional or a crisis line first. Then, if you want the spiritual support running alongside, book with us.

You get photos and your reading
We send photos of your candle before lighting and the finished melt, plus your reading. We never photograph the lit flame, so the energy isn’t trapped.
